Tending our Fire

Beltane is a time of fire, a remembering of what lives and burns within us.

We are living in a world lit by unrest, war, rising violence, and ongoing harm toward women and gender diverse people. Many of us are carrying anger, grief, fear, and a deep knowing that something is not right.

Held by the Sacred Feminine, we gather in a safe and powerful container to meet our inner fire, the fire of truth, grief, rage, instinct, protection, and creation. A fire shaped and suppressed under patriarchy, and yet never extinguished.

What you feel is not too much.  It is knowing. It is wisdom. It is the voice of the women who came before you.

Here, we will not turn away. We will move with our anger and our grief, honour them, and listen for what they are asking of us. We will remember that rage is sacred, that it sharpens our boundaries, awakens clarity, and calls us back into right relationship with ourselves and the world.

Guided by the Sacred Feminine, we will tend this fire together. This gathering is open to women who feel the call.

We take this time to emerge from the belly of the Great Mother and find our way to the light within which we will unfold.  What are your longings and aspirations?  What seeds are sprouting within you?
